So many ways to give...
We are a private, non-profit agency headquartered in Erie, PA. We offer services in Erie, Crawford, Venango, and Potter Counties, improving the lives of approximately 350 people and their families every day. Our programs are licensed annually by the Department of Public Welfare. Funding sources include Erie County Mental Health/Mental Retardation and other county MH/MR programs, and the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare Office of Mental Retardation. Private donations, grants, and fundraising proceeds are also necessary to supplement the agency's operating budget.
Would you like to help ensure the continuation of our programs? You can make a difference by donating today! All online donations will be designated to the Endowment Fund, but if you would like to contribute specifically to another fund or program, please contact the office at (814) 454-1534.
EHCA is also in need of in-kind donations. Click here to view a 'Wish List.'

The Endowment Fund is for "future building." Your gift will be invested to help ensure the future of EHCA services.
The Employee Recognition Fund helps EHCA show appreciation to its dedicated, caring staff.
The Recreation/Leisure Fund is a more encompassing version of the former "summer camp fund." This fund permits many of our residents and program participants to enjoy unique leisure or recreational opportunities. For example,
The Special Needs Fund is used to meet the needs of our residents and program participants by purchasing medical equipment, adaptive equipment, communication devices, and other such items, that are not covered by our operating budget.
The Technology Fund will enable EHCA to keep pace with the rapid changes in communication, data collection, adn reporting requirements. For example, in 2009, the group homes converted to paperless reporting with the purchase and conversion to CareTracker, an electronic medical records tracker.
Each program also has its own fund, and you can choose to designate your donation to support the program of your choice. For a list of programs, click here.
