Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Passavant Hospital Foundation, whose mission is to support UPMC Passavant hospital by advancing health and wellness through education, outreach, and grant making. Our Foundation's vision is to be a visible extension of the Passavant legacy of caring in making the region a leader in health care awareness, accessibility, and equality. 

We would like to make you a part of "our family" because we recognize volunteers as an essential part of the Foundation's activities plus an important part of the level of excellence provided to Passavant's patients. Whether you need to complete community service hours, gain exposure, complete an internship, or want to give back to the community, Passavant Hospital Foundation's volunteer program will offer you many choices in finding just the right fit for your talents and skills and our Foundation's needs. Our Volunteer Program provides various opportunities:

Programs

Throughout the year, Passavant Hospital Foundation offers many educational outreach programs on health and wellness topics which are open to the community and free of charge. Volunteers help with mailings to announce programs; help prepare for programs; room and electronic equipment setups; and serve as program greeters.

Special Events

The Passavant Hospital Foundation hosts special events throughout the year to raise money to support programs and services of the Foundation and UPMC Passavant. Some of the events include a sponsored golf tournament, annual appeal fundraising campaign, donor recognition campaign, and the Annual Legacy Dinner event.

Support Services

We are looking for volunteers who would like to make a difference in the northern region communities by providing services including mailings, marketing, general office support, and event co-hosting.

Auxiliary

Men and women are invited to join a long-standing dedicated group of community volunteers who make up the Passavant Hospital Auxiliary. The Auxiliary conducts many fundraising events that benefit UPMC Passavant. Just to name a few events, the Auxiliary sponsors a holiday card sale, jewelry sales, baked good sales, and more.
